Seward Thackray has a proud heritage, dating back to 1902, and is the result of a merger between Thackray Instruments and Seward Medical Limited, which were purchased in 2002 and 2003 respectively.

We manufacture and supply an extensive range of high-quality surgical instruments, used in operating theatres and clinics both in the UK and worldwide.

Our belief is that quality and performance are paramount in the manufacture and design of any product used in the surgical arena. The manufacture of specialist surgical products does not lend itself to mass production methods.

We specialise in the design and manufacture of Surgical Instruments, in particular those for colo rectal surgery.
